Making plans for reopening

In line with the updated UK Government guidance we are starting to make plans for reopening Gallery Oldham as soon as we can. We still have some work to do behind the scenes to ensure we can provide a safe and welcoming experience for our visitors. We will not be re-opening in July but please keep an eye on our website for further announcements. You could also subscribe to our regular email newsletter here.

The Gallery Oldham experience is likely to be little different at first. For instance there will be a one way system in place and there will be limits on how many visitors can be in the building at once. But we are confident that it will still be a safe and enjoyable place to visit as we begin to unwind from the lockdown.

We are delighted to announce that the Syd Shelton: Rock Against Racism exhibition will still be on display when we re-open. The show had been up for less than a week when we closed and we are grateful to Autograph for enabling us to extend the loan of this important and timely exhibition.
